The story behind the app

Built for Caity. Shared for readers who get it.

Caity loves books the way some people love art. Every shelf matters. Every worn paperback has a story. She wanted something warmer than a database and more personal than a generic tracker, so I built her one.

What started as a simple barcode-scanning project became a full personal library app shaped by one question: would Caity love using this?

While I was building it, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
